from the Metroplex Gym in Hawaiian Gardens, California
We kicked things off with the head instructors of Academia Fuerza going face to face, with Axel the Shark shaking off some ring rust as he faced Xander Azula, who himself was coming back to in-ring action after a couple months of being away. Both men are grounded in technical prowess, so this quickly became a battle between Axel's high flying and Xander's brawling expertise!
Whenever the two slugged it out, Xander wound up with the upper hand...but Axel was able to use his agility and quick thinking to escape the Fist of Eris! Axel took Xander down before looking for the Deep Dive...but in the end, this Shark got caught in shallow water with the Fuerza Special, forced to tap out!
Winner via submission: Xander Azula
The win earned Xander a Unum Gem and a spot in the finals on the next show...but more on that in a bit!
Our next contest saw Hiro Taguchi take on The Renowned Gabriel, a clash between two esteemed guests looking to prove themselves with a Unum Gem on the line! Hiro has quite a solid base to his repetoire of strikes, which came in handy against the tricks and shenanigans of Gabriel!
In the end it came down to who seemingly wanted the win--and the Gem--more, a question answered by a resounding Penalty kick to the face of Gabriel after the Houdini's Handcuffs were miraculously escaped from, giving Hiro Taguchi a crucial win on his excursion in the States!
Winner via pinfall: Hiro Taguchi
After the match, Xander Azula came out to the ring to address the crowd. He said he appreciated the heated competition against Axel the Shark earlier in the night, but with all due respect to the Sharkman, Xander had "bigger fish to fry"...vacating his Unum Gem before revealing that he would defend his "REAL World's Championship" from HOW at the next Fuerza Pro show, with his opponent to be named.
Shortly after it was revealed that the vacant Gem would be up for grabs in a match at the next show, with the winner entering the finals later that night!
This turned out to be a shockingly brief encounter, all told. Rettop arrived ready to go after picking up some crucial wins in XPRO, but O'Bailey...needed some extra seasoning. Rettop caught him quick with the End of the Line inside of five minutes to secure the victory and his Unum Gem to advance to the final!
Winner via pinfall: Jimmy Rettop
Kenny was still recovering from the absolute beatdown he suffered at the hands of Paxton Ray at PRIME's ReVival 33, which made this another relatively quick affair that saw Kendra take her counterpart down to the canvas with the Freeman Special II for the pin and the win!
Winner via pinfall: Kendra Freeman
A match worthy of our first main event of the current Fuerza era, the students hailing from the Anthill took on some influential figures in the JOATs from Bang! Pro and BRAZEN! Verde, Rojo, and Soldador were able to put what they learned to good use as they kept Sweetwater, Pizazz, and Graves on their toes early on.
The later part of the match saw the dudebros take advantage of an opening when Verde slipped on the top rope during a tightrope walk, making him an easy target for Graves to plant to the canvas with a Gravedigger, before the JOATs took further control with a Spiked Jackfrost Driver on Rojo, with Pizazz keeping Soldador on the outside while Sweetwater picked up an almost ironic victory over the sugar-hungry ants!
Winners via pinfall: The Jacks Of All Trades

From the Long Beach Scottish Rite in Long Beach, California
Axel was on the hunt for that unclaimed Unum Gem after Xander essentially vacated it last show, but Black Death looked ready to make a statement on his return to wrestling at the instructor's expense! The action was a bit chaotic at the start as Axel used his agility to take down the former True Expert...but Black Death is a man of power, and he used his strength well to keep the Shark down at times. Despite his best efforts, Axel ended up getting caught in the Black Out and tapping out, with Black Death picking up the win and the Gem!
Winner via submission and advancing to the E Pluribus, Unum final: Black Death
Kenny Freeman came out to check on his trainer as Black Death collected his gem and headed to the back...but Thomas Crowne came out swinging, going after Freeman to get our next match underway quickly!
Schwartz soon made his way out to try and restore a sense of order in the proceedings, and as the match finally got going it was clear that Crowne was looking to end this match ASAP so he could turn his attention to the CdP qualifying match later in the night. Kenny, on the other hand, seemed more focused on trying to get Randall to agree to "give me back my title" pointing to the Bang! All Day Championship inexplicably fastened around the Entertainer's waist...and this would cause the young competitor much, much grief when Thomas spun him around to connect with the Crowne Affair for the pin and the win!
Winner via pinfall: Thomas Crowne
The shenanigans were far from over however, as Crowne rolled up Schwartz immediately after the match...and Kenny Freeman made a fast count to crown, uh, Crowne the new Bang! All Day Champion...only for Freeman to roll Thomas up, and the actual referee in this affair made the count allowing Kenny to pick up the championship...until Randall realized what had just happened, chasing Kenny to the back for revenge! Crowne, looking dejected after holding a title for all of fifteen seconds, eventually heads to the back as well.
There was a sense of concern for the resident ants (residAnts?) of Fuerza at the arrival of Hellfire and Brimstone, a spooky pair just in time for the spooky season as they began to plow through Rojo and Soldador early on in the match. A hot, hot, HOT tag to Rojo started to turn things around for The Zoo, until Hellfire absolutely planted him into the canvas with a chokeslam into a backbreaker that absolutely silenced the crowd as Hellfire got the pin and the win!
Winners via pinfall and advancing to the Campeonatos de Parejas match next show: Army of Darkness
Soldador tried to come to Rojo's aid after the match, but was laid out with the Brimstone Piledriver by the apparent Caretaker of the duo before they left the ring and escaped to the back, leaving us with ring crew checking on the Zoo as we went to a short 5-minute intermission.
The thing about a short intermission is that it immediately led into the next match, with the JOATs of Sweetwater and Graves looking to overcome the Eternal Circle of Vagn Dahl and Thomas Crowne! A real clash of styles and philosophies at play here, with Sweetwater getting the early advantage before Crowne started fighting back. A tag made to Graves kept the JOATs in control, dividing and conquering on Thomas until he can finally get the tag to Dahl! The general of the Circle went on the attack until he was overpowered by Graves, who took him down hard with the Gravedigger for the pin and the win!
Winners via pinfall and advancing to the Campeonatos de Parejas match next show: Jacks of All Trades
Crowne tried to help Dahl back to his feet after the match...but the arrival of Steve Solex stopped all that real quick, as the MERCDAD went on the attack! An absolute ASSAULT ensued as Solex beat down Crowne and Dahl...until Xander Azula arrived to make the save, leading to our next match getting started!
It became clear from the opening bell that Solex's mission tonight was NOT to take the "REAL World's Championship" from Azula...it was simply to make a statement at his expense. Azula found himself overwhelmed early on by the HOW Hall of Famer, who pelted the Fighter with a barrage of strikes. Solex finally let up at the referee's demand...but that was the last time he seemed to care about such regulation, eventually laying into the Fuerza instructor with a similar level of brutality as was displayed on HOW's Chaos 41 program. The match finally spilled out of the ring as Azula started fighting back, the two men brawling for what seemed like ages before the referee had no choice but to throw this match out!
Result: Match ends in a No Contest
This didn't go over well with the crowd, but there was little that could be done as seemingly all the Fuerza students and Axel the Shark rushed out to break things up! With all this insanity unfolding, and in an effort to pick spirits back up before our main event, we took another five-minute intermission!
With the crowd fired up again we got underway with our main event of the evening, and boy was this exciting! Black Death and Hiro Taguchi had a mutual respect for another as they showcased the best of their strong style and technical prowess while Rettop and Freeman looked to see who was the better of the Fuerza students. The strikes between BD and Taguchi were hot and heavy as one would expect, and Rettop and Freeman showed just how much they'd learned from the training at the Academia Fuerza. The action slowed down a bit when all four competitors found themselves knocked down after a quadruple clothesline. The match came to a head when BD locked Taguchi in the Black Out, only for Rettop to break the hold...only for Rettop to get spun around by Freeman, who lifted him up to hit the Freeman Special II, driving him into the canvas before Kendra picked up the pin and the win!
Winner via pinfall and new (first-ever!) Unum Champion: Kendra Freeman
Taguchi finally came to after being put in the Black Out, showing his respect to the new champion and the crowd while making it clear he was far from finished on this stretch of his excursion. BD showed his respect as well, clearly looking to stay in the thick of the title picture. BD left the ring to a round of applause from the crowd, which in turn left us with Rettop and Kendra in the ring...with the bested Rettop raising the arm of the first-ever Unum Champion to a standing ovation from the crowd!
